Moving from .com to .org
-
Hi, I have set up an external host with go daddy that I would like to use wordpress.org.
I currently have a wordpress.com account (www.blacmacproductions.com) I have installed wordpress.org onto my host site however I can only edit my site in wordpress.com
I have read that I need to transfer my files across which is fine but I cannot access any kind of dashboard for wp.org
Do I need to cancel my .com account before I can start building a .org account?
CHeers,
Graham

The domain blacmacproductions.com still points to WordPress.com.
Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel to revert the nameserver records. This guide will step you through the process of moving your blog to a WordPress.org instance: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org
As we only support blogs hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new blog–including the importing of the file–must be taken to the WordPress.org support community: http://wordpress.org/support
