Moving from free WP blog to self-hosted problems
-
First off, please know that I am just about able to do the basics when it comes to making websites…please be kind!
I built a site using Weebly on my hosting platform, but wanted to switch it over to a WordPress site. I tried to Google the steps to doing this, and most seemed to agree that I needed a temporary free WP blog to ‘hold’ my site’s info.
I basically just rebuilt my website on the free site, because I had minimal stuff on the original site.
I installed WP on my hosting platform, and I already had it there for two other blogs. I exported from the pottypotatosite.wordpress.com to the pottypotatoes.com WD, but when I imported the file, it brought the Weebly site! Now, I can’t do anything with the WP site…what have I done wrong, and can I fix it? I ultimately want to keep the domain name, but lose the Weebly format and have WP instead.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you explain this a bit “it brought the Weebly site! Now, I can’t do anything with the WP site”. ?
Thanks
