Moving from GoDaddy to WordPress.com
-
I have used WordPress Builder to create my website which is currently hosted on GoDaddy. I am considering moving my website from GoDaddy hosting to a WordPress.com plan, specifically the Premium Plan. My question is this: Can I move my current website without totally breaking everything? Or would I have to rebuild it on WordPress from scratch? The most complicated it gets on there is a sign up form for a newsletter (Mailchimp) though I’ve done a bit of customization of the Ocean theme.

You can move the site here following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/
Your content will be kept as-is.
If you’re using any plugins, you’ll need to either upgrade to a Business or eCommerce plan to use them, or find alternatives from our built-in features: https://wordpress.com/support/plugins/#using-other-plugins
Your theme is also a third-party theme, so you would need a Business or eCommerce plan to continue using it as well: https://wordpress.com/support/themes/uploading-setting-up-custom-themes/
With that said though, we do have hundreds of themes available, no paid plan required: https://wordpress.com/themes
