moving from self hosted

  I currently have a wordpress site at livingbipolarlife.com that I would like to import into a WordPress.com site instead. I’m giving up the domain name and hosting.
  How can I import everything so I don’t loose my data?

  Hey Laura – this document should tell you everything you need to know, specifically the section titled Moving from WordPress.org

  It should be relatively painless, but you’ll probably need to do some tweaking when you choose a new theme (assuming your current theme is not available on wordpress.com) – but, the good news is that you can set everything up prior to committing.

  Also, if you’re so inclined, you can keep your old domain name and point it at your new wordpress.com site, for $13/yr, with domain mapping — more info here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
