moving from self hosted to WordPress.com

Hi guys,
I would like to move my self hosted blog into WordPress.com
and I wanted to know if there’s a way to move all the media files like pictures and posts together.kind regards

Hi there, welcome to WPcom! First please make sure that on your WP site any unattached images are attached to a post or page and that your site is available online and publicly visible. It also helps to delete any spam messages or feedback prior to making your export file.
When you are ready for the move, export your file from your WP site and then import it to your WPcom site following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/ and this guide may be helpful as well https://transferto.wordpress.com/self-hosted-wordpress-org/
If you have a lot of large media files, more than the 3GB storage available in the free plan, you may need to upgrade your site to add more storage space to complete the import. You can learn more about all the plan features on the pricing page at https://wordpress.com/pricing/
