Moving from (Siteground) Wordress.org to WordPress.com

    Hello,

    I’ve hosted my blog website with Siteground for the past 2 years, however I’d like to move to WordPress.com (that way I can keep everything in one place and also actually appear in their reader).

    I can’t seem to be able to get a plan going with WordPress.com though…they’re trying to get me to start from scratch and create a new website. I thought I had updated my WordPress plan but it turned out to be just Jetpack (personal plan, £33 a year).

    I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this and seem to be getting nowhere. I have a WordPress.com account so…where do I go from here?

    If you want to move to WordPress.com then you need to create a site here in the first instance (along with a Personal plan or higher) so you have somewhere to move your existing content (and domain) to.
