Moving from Squarespace

    Hello-
    I’m trying to move from Squarespace to WordPress my URL cheapcourage.com. However the DNS is not resolving. They sent me a transfer key as well asked me to enter an organization contact. Where do I get the contact information from and where do I input the transfer key?

    Hi there!

    WordPress.com does not accept incoming domain transfers. If you’d like to move your domain away from Squarespace and point it to your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to find a different registrar. Or you can keep your domain with Squarespace and point it here.

    In order for your domain to point to your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to do two things:

    1. Purchase the Domain Mapping upgrade for your domain. You can do this through Store > My Domains. Just select Map a Domain Name You Already Own.

    2. Change your name servers to the following:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    If you don’t know how to do this, you’ll need to contact your registrar for assistance.
