Moving From Wix

    Hi,
    I currently have a website on Wix and want to build an eCommerce site on WordPress before changing over. Can I do this and then how do I transfer it across?
    Also how does the hosting work, I think currently Wix hosts my site, do I have to pay extra for that on WordPress?

    Hi there,

    You can create an e-commerce site on WordPress.com and for that, you’ll need the Business plan. The Business plan includes hosting as well and you can read more about all of its features here:

    If you want to transfer your Wix site here, you can follow our guide:

    https://transferto.wordpress.com/wix/

    If you want to keep your site on Wix and just create an e-shop on WordPress.com, you can do so by mapping a subdomain to your current domain. This will look something like:

    myeshop.mywixwebsite.com
