Moving from wordpress.com to bluehost.com

  Since a week I am trying with every possible way to move my website from yazeed.me in WordPress.com to yazeed. blog in Bluehost.com.

  Xml was downloaded and uploaded there as zip and even after unzip but same.

  My issue that 50% of comments not moved to bluehost.com. Same thing with images and posts etc.

  I tried with my friend in his host but same! no even any improving.

  I tried in my local PC and same the issue.

  I am 100% confidence that issue from WordPress.com.

  I asked the support team through the chat and they give me many ways and instructions but non of them success.

  I asked help from bluehost support team but they said it is seems from the source not from them. as we did many things to make importing by xml.

  This is now here after difficult week to me. really I need help from you.

  I just need to move my website from wordpress.com.

  I mean I tried on my pc by using imported by xml but even that not success.

  Hi yazeed85,

  I’ve checked your support history. I see one of our Happiness Engineers successfully exported content from yazeed.me and imported the .xml file into a test site. This means the export file(s) generated by WordPress.com are working as they should — otherwise we would have experienced the same issue.

  I asked help from bluehost support team but they said it is seems from the source not from them.

  Bluehost is the only difference between the two scenarios (our test and your import) so I recommend contacting them to see whether they have any upload file size limits. Importing file larger than that could cause the import to time out and result in missing content:

  yazeed.blog uses WordPress.org software so the WordPress.org support forums will be the best place to ask for more advice. While we can help with export issues on WordPress.com, this seems to be an import issue on Bluehost’s end.

  One more thing — we have sent you the export files we used. Please try importing those into your new site on Bluehost.

  Thanks it seems I have to upload the xml in repeated times to get all data moved to my website in bluehost. That’s weird!!

  So now it is fixed. Thanks for your help.
