moving from wordpress.com to a different hosting with purchased theme

  I am planning to move to a new hosting provider. I was wondering if I purchased a theme from wordpress.com, would I be able to move the theme with me to the new hosting? Once I’m on the new hosting, I will be using wordpress.org, correct?

  If you are moving to a self-hosted site, you should wait and purchase your theme from a WordPress theme shop, as premium themes cannot be downloaded/transferred from WordPress.com.
