Moving from WordPress.com to self hosted WordPress site

    Hello,

I want to move my WordPress site (decafeporbarcelona.wordpress.com) to a self hosted site.
Nowadays I have the domain decafeporbarcelona.com using your DNS and redirected to decafeporbarcelona.wordpress.com.
Previously to change the DNS, I’m exporting all the content and preparing the new site.
I have installed the jetpack plugin, but I can’t login because decafeporbarcelona.com is active in my profile.
I’m interested in move the subscriptions (I can do this managing my sites) and the statistics from one site to another.
What is the correct way to do this process?

    Thanks,
    regards.

I can help you move your stats and followers. You’ll want to do this as the last step.

Once you are all moved into your new self hosted site, you’ll want to point your custom domain to that site. You may also need to reconnect Jetpack so it shows up as your custom URL, not as the “fake” development URL.

Let me know when that’s done, and I’ll move your stats and followers for you.

    Hi,

    So, the steps are:
1.- Import all the content to the new self hosted site
2.- Change my primary domain from decafeporbarcelona.com to decafeporbarcelona.wordpress.com from “Shop->My domains” menu
3.- Change decafeporbarcelona.com’s DNS to point the new site
4.- Reconnect Jetpack from the new site
5.- You move stats and followers from one site to the new site

    That’s correct?

    Regards,
    Moni
