Moving from wordpress.com – too many questions, no straight answer

  Hello.
  I while ago I baught the domain http://www.nsnbc.me through wordpress.com

  Now I want to move to HostGator, and ask myself, what about the annual payment for the domain name… whom will I pay, who will send the bill after I moved ? I find nothing about this here.

  Also the friendly person trying to move nsnbc, and install the new theme AFTERwards, is getting an error message

  When i export the content from the site, i get some error

  It´s all pretty non-understandable for me.. The most important thing for me now is to know, WHEREmy domain name is registered, whom to pay in the future and HOW I get to know about it…

  Your domain is registered and purchased at WordPress.com. To point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), please follow the instructions here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/#changing-domain-name-servers

  This guide explains how to transfer the domain name to another registrar.

  You can export your blog content at https://nsnbc.wordpress.com/wp-admin/export.php?type=export . If that doesn’t work, click on ‘posts’ and export your content in portions bij selecting a date range.
