Moving from wordpress.org

I’m moving my blog over from wordpress.org and I’ve followed the instructions on http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/ however once I imported, the theme is totally different, I only have posts from 2010, and the pictures aren’t even displaying.
Please advise…thanks.

You need to have checked the box to include and move images during the import. See the import instructions for more information.
You will have to customize the Theme and choose one to your preferences as Theme customization does not migrate onto WordPress.com.

I don’t see that option in the move….I just go from Tools–>Import–>Wordpress. Then I upload the file.
The pictures aside, it only logged blog updates from 2010

There used to be an import prompt that asked if we wanted to include attachments when we clicked the import link and the media files (including image files) are the attachments.

I haven’t seen that prompt.
I’ve followed the directions completely from http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
From wordpress.ORG I go to export and select all content (Contains all posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus and custom posts.)
I then go to wordpress.COM and go to tools then import and upload the file from .ORG.
Not once have I been asked about attachments at either site
