Moving from Xanga to WordPress

  I’ve been trying to import my blog entries from xanga to wordpress and followed the instructions I found on your support page but I keep getting this error after going Tools>Import>Select the file>Upload

  “Sorry, there has been an error.
  This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number”

  Any ideas on how to solve this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello There,

  Sounds like you are using the Xanga importer. You will actually want to use the WordPress importer for your Xanga files. Take the zip file you were given from Xanga and upload all the files one at a time (even if they are very small files)
