Moving front page posts to a new page?
-
Can I move multiple posts about a single topic, to a newly created page for that topic, so all these topic-specific posts now appear on the single page and not on the home page?
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No.
a) Your home page is what we call a dynamic page (displays a number of posts, automatically changes content when a new post is added).
b) A page you create under Pages > Add New is what we call a static page (almost identical to a post – to one post): what you’re asking is like asking if you can make several posts appear on a post.
c) Your latest post(s) will show up on your home page (unless you set it to display a static page): you can’t exclude some of them from appearing on it.
d) To sort your posts you file them under post categories, not pages. So just add the appropriate category to the posts about that topic, and add the Categories widget to your sidebar.
e) There’s a trick via which you can make a category show up as a page tab in the header (which is probably what you’re interested in), but it doesn’t work in the theme you’re using.

@kajunkouponer
I see that you use the Vigilance theme and that you have 15 static Pages. Are you sure that you want to replace all those static pages with categories? If so here’s the link http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/26/page-tabs-as-external-links/ -
Ah.
One of Panos’ most popular posts! Here for your pleasure (it works in Vigilance): -
