Moving Gmail Account out of WordPress
-
Hi
I had my business site on WordPress from a number of years ago and when I set it up I opted for the G-Mail subscription for my email. I have recently moved my site off of WordPress, but my email is still managed by my wordpress account with the MX records on my DNS server using ‘megamailservers.com’, which I’m guessing is a service that WordPress uses to direct email traffic? Or is it Google?
The issue I now have is that managing my Google account this way is problematic and blocks me prom upgrading services such as drive space etc.
Can anyone tell me what is involved with moving the management over to Google Admin, and do I need to update DNS records.
Thanks.

Hi there!
You can read about how to cancel your Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) email here:
I would recommend reaching out to live chat support since you have a number of upgrades on your account to make sure you cancel them in the correct order. You can reach them here:

I hope that helps!
