Moving Google Search Results to New Website

  I have recently moved my blog onto my own self hosted domain. I was wondering if it’s possible to use my Google Webmaster Account to redirect my Google search results to the new website.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes that’s exactly where you enter the URL and verify the new install.

  I can’t edit the html or upload files to the wordpress.com server – can I do the redirect without verifying?

  I’ve followed the steps – but it keeps saying google can’t verify the account. Does it take some time for the tag to get uploaded onto the server?

  Did you just change the domain? Or did you change hosting as well?
