Moving Header position and changing fonts in Appetite theme
-
I have two issues I’m hoping to fix for my site – and was told Custom CSS would be the way.
1. I was hoping for the home page we could have the site title in the center (like the categories pages) rather than in the upper left.
2. I want to change the main title header font to something more intricate but if I do that it changes all the individual post title fonts and makes the page illegible.
Here’s a screenshot more clearly showing my question: http://screencast.com/t/wYOr8LckjT
Can anyone help me with this?

Hi there,
Try the following code and let me know how it behaves. First one is for centering the site title, second will change the category title font to Arial, which you can change as per your liking!
.wf-active #masthead .site-branding .site-title { position: relative; left: 100%; } #primary-header .page-title { font-family: Arial; }And thanks for providing those screenshots, they’re always a help!

Thanks for your help! So appreciated.
The code for the category font works!
No change in the site title position though.

The extra slash “/” that you have before .wf-active, can you remove that please and try again? It’s not required and actually interfering with the code.
Removing the last one, just after the closing brace “}” can also be removed.
