Moving mapped domain from a web page to a *.wordpress.com site.

    Recently I mapped “thefarmband.com” domain to this domain: thenewfarmband.wordpress.com and everything worked once I made thefarmband.com my primary domain.

    Then I failed to renew that domain on time. I think the domain was suspended and then restored after my late payment.

    Now, when I go to thefarmband.com it takes me to a different site that does not allow me to log in but displays the site content without a WP theme.

    Trying to enter thefarmband.com domain on thenewfarmband.wordpress.com brings the message that the domain is already working on another WP site.

    Can you help me get the thefarmband.com domain installed on thenewfarmband.wordpress.com where it belongs? Please?

    Hi there,

    I can see that you used to have a domain mapping for thefarmband.com, but that domain mapping upgrade expired and was removed from your account in September.

    That domain is now mapped to a different WordPress.com site belonging to another username. I cannot move that domain mapping to any other site unless the current owner requests it.

    If you have another account on WordPress.com, I suggest you try logging in as that account and see if you don’t see the mapping upgrade there. Then you can reply here as that username to request if I must move the domain to this username and site.
