Moving Media Icons
-
Hi all,
I’ve figured out how to install media icons but I would like it on the top header of my blog under the title, in the same heading as HOME ABOUT and CONTACT. I would also like to remove the gray RSS feed button in the top left that came with the site. I don’t need RSS if I have a subscribe via email button right?
Im using Licorice theme. Any suggestions or codes? I added the icons and connected them by using the TEXT widget and entering HTML. Im a beginner so if anyone can try and explain like they’re talking to a 2 year old that would be great!
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You DO need an RSS link. Leave it.
Use a Custom Menu to add the links to your social accounts. You cannot use images for this, though, as far as I know.

Ok thanks. I do all the instructions that I’ve found off google to find my rss feed URL, but nothing works. When I type in my address with /feed at the end an error message and all this code comes up. Any ideas?

Every wordpress.com blog has built-in feeds. This ought to be your feed URL for posts http://thehealthycollective.com/I do not know why it’s not working. I can see you have been CSS editing. I have determined the blog is “broken” and tagged this thread for Staff assistance. http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fthehealthycollective.com Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

Thank you so much, it appears to be working and I was able to claim my blog with bloglovin. However, it still seems when I click on the RSS feed on the media icon I added in the sidebar, and the media icon in the top left that came with the theme, and the lower RSS feed link in the side bar don’t work. It just brings up the code tree again. Also, when Im trying to set up the bloglovin code in my text widget (to go with the media icon I added) it doesn’t work. Because it’s supposed to be the RSS feed URL right?
Thanks so much, sorry Im new! -
You’re using Chrome, aren’t you? Chrome can’t read feeds. You need a feed reader to read RSS feeds in Chrome.

As raincoaster said above Chrome does not have built in feed reader and the feed reader extension that’s required. Here’s the link for that extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nlbjncdgjeocebhnmkbbbdekmmmcbfjd
