Moving my blog

I want to move my blog from wordpress.com to wordpress 2.7 with new hosting. I bought the hosting package, changed the DNS to the hosting servers and deleted my wordpress.com blog. I uploaded WP2.7 to the hosting servers made the databases and everything. But everytime i try to access my new blog, It just tells me i deleted it and the content is no longer available. I’m trying to use the same domain name as my wordpress.com blog and it would just go right to that blog no matter who was hosting it. So i deleted it and now it just tells me the content is no longer available. Why is wordpress.com holding on to my domain name even though they are no longer hosting it? I changed the primary domain name and then deleted the blog so it should just let it go. Now i can’t use MY domain name that i own because wordpress won’t let go of it. Does anyone know how to fix this? If you go to my domain http://www.theplasticgear.com it says the authors deleted this blog etc. But they aren’t hosting that domain any more so why is it saying that? It keeps redirected my domain to theplasticgear.wordpress.com and i need to change that. thanks for any help.
