  Is it possible to move my blog that is currently hosted on Blogspot onto my new WordPress account?

  It’s possible to export a copy of your content out of your .blogspot blog http://support.google.com/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=97416 and then import it into your WordPress.com blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/
