Thanks Auxclass, but I intent to host the blog on my website and want FTP access. This being the case, what would be the best thing for me to do?

Move your blog to your web site –
Make friends over at WordPress.ORG for help – set up a WordPress.ORG install on your web site – then move the blog from here to your new web site – Export from here – import to new .ORG blog on your new web site – you can set the blog part up as a sub-domain – but the .ORG folks will have instructions on how to set up on your web site

Just went over to WordPress.org. They don’t have a live forum like over here.
Do you have an idiot’s guide to doing what I need to do, please?
My website is hosted by Godaddy and my site is built using Joomala, but I understand I can still have my WordPress blog running on my site.
I just need a step-by-step guide what I need to do. Thank you

here is their forum: http://wordpress.org/support/
You need to open an account – their account is not related so the same email and user name (if the name is not taken) will work over there
