moving my blog/website to a different host

  Hi,

  I need a back up of my blog/website on wordpress.com so that I can export my website to a different host.

  I have spoken to the other host and they said I need to contact wordpress support and request that they email me a complete back up of my entire content.

  Does anyone have a contact email for support, or if this is the support and you are listening, can anyone get in touch so that I can get a backup of my blog?

  That’s not what you do in the case of a WordPress.COM blog. There is no access to the database here. What you do is create an export file of your blog content and then import it into the new site This support doc explains the various ways to transfer your content to another blog or platform and explains how to backup your site.
