Moving My Domain to my Existing WP Site

    Hi there.
    I have just transferred my domain/URL over to my existing WP account (hosted by Blue Host) but my ‘annecevans.com’ address has been converted to a wordpress.com URL.
    I want to keep my original domain name & also include my existing WP URL acehw.blog
    on the one site. Should I have gone through Blue Host to do this?
    How can we correct this please?

    Hi Anne,

    There are two sites listed in your account:

    1. annecevanscom.wordpress.com: created and hosted here on WordPress.com
    2. acehw.blog: which uses WordPress.org software and is hosted by Bluehost. The Jetpack plugin connects this site to your WordPress.com account.

    If you need help adding annecevans.com (currently pointing to Wix) as an additional domain on acehw.blog, please contact Bluehost or post to the WordPress.org support forums for advice.

    We could help if you wanted to use annecevans.com as the custom domain for annecevanscom.wordpress.com though (which would hide the free address).
