Moving my domain to wordpress

  I own http://www.iranologie.com and it is hosted at another host. I want to move it to wordpress and use it for my current blog, historyofiran.wordpress.com. How do I do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Just to be clear, I know about Domain mapping. The issue is that I don’t want to pay 50 dollars at my other registrar and then just have it “redirected” to my wordpress site! The registration is ending on the other host, and I want to basically re-register it with WordPress.

  While we register new domains here at WordPress.com, we’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names. Therefore, we recommend that you keep the name registered at your current registrar and map your domain to us.

  However, if you do not want to pay the $50 as you mentioned, I would look into transferring your domain to another registrar that is cheaper and map your domain to us.
