Moving my pictures around if they are all posts instead of pages

I have a picture blog and I don’t like the order the pictures are displaying in. I am using Duotone format. How can I rearrange my pictures if they are each entered as a post? Also, how do I enter contact information, like my Name and Phone number, onto the page? Why does the name of each picture appear before the picture itself as you navigate through the postings? Is there any way to change that? Thanks so much for your help!

    1) You can change the order of the posts by changing their date or time stamp.

    2) You go to Pages > Add New and create a page with the info you want. It will show up as a tab in the header.

    3) You mean why the text loads before the image? Because the images are too large (the one I checked is 1.3 MB, 2576x1932px, resolution 230dpi). Browsers display images at 72dpi, so you’re just wasting your storage space by uploading such files. You should make copies of the images, edit them in an image editing application to change their resolution to 72, perhaps reduce the resultant width too, and upload those downsized copies. Details on suitable width here:

Excuse me for chiming in but I do have something to say that’s worth listening to. If your posts have already been indexed and are appearing in the SERPs (searsch engine page results) then changing datestamps and timestamps for aesthetic reasons will result in a “404” (page not found) when the original URLs are clicked. We have had incidents of bloggers who had established blogs with large archives who deeply regretted doing this.
