  I own falmouthflagday5k.org and want to try WordPress but not move it till I learn it. Can I do that?

  Depending on the needs of your site, a free plan may work to start building your site and then to keep the falmouthflagday5k.org domain name you would need to upgrade to at least the Personal plan to customize the domain name.

  This approach should allow you to learn some features of WordPress.com and see if that will work for you.

  There are also the “self-hosted” WordPress options that may offer different pricing and features based on what you are needing for your site.
