moving my site from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

  I have set up a wordpress blog website (wordpress.com) that I realize now needs to be a .org website, because I want to add e-commerce options to my site (i.e. shopping cart buttons or something similar). Is there a way to transfer all my pages over to wordpress.org without starting from scratch?

  Yes you can export your content out of the wordpress.com blog and import it into the wordpress.org install, after you hire a web host, set up the install and install a theme and plugins into it. See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
