moving my site to another url

  I would like to move my blog including posts and related files from wordpress.com to another self hosted site I already own. I don’t want to use third party transfer service. How can I get access to my wordpress files via FTP or CPanel?

  Hi Sarah – to do that, you can use our internal export/import tools to move your content:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org

  You can move your domain to your new site in this way:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/
