Moving old articles off the home page

  I’m using the ‘Contempt’ theme. I want the main page that readers arrive at to show only the latest 3 or 4 articles, with an obvious link that goes to earlier articles. Probably simple, but how do I do it?

  Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most # posts. Enter your desired #. Voila. Then there will be a “previous entries”-link at the bottom of the front page.
