moving old blog rather than delete it, in order to restart it
-
Hi there,
I’d like to retain the pages i’ve got on my blog but shift them to a hidden section/page so that I can restart the blog completely but pull stuff back in if i want to reuse what i had before.
is this possible?
like if i create a new homepage… called HOME
and then we put the old contents into HOME–> OLD –> old contents here
and set it up so they are not public.and then from HOME I can create new content and new subpages, etc. which would be public.
Is that possible?
would you please assist me to work out how to do this?
thank you,
regardsThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The only way to hide existing content on your site is to either set it back to draft, or change the status to private so only you can see it. Both these actions need to be done per-post/page from within the editor.

Moving your current posts to a separate, hidden archive, as it were, is not possible – any WordPress site only has one feed for posts, and all published posts appear in that feed.
