Moving old posts

  Hi,
  I changed my theme and updated my menu.
  I would like to move a few old blog posts to specific menu categories.
  How do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello @thatgirltamara,

  You might want to first edit your older blog posts by following these steps:

  – Make sure Customiser is close by clicking x on the upper left hand side of the screen.
  – Then click “My Site” in the upper left hand side.
  – Click on Blog Posts, which will now display the published blogs in an order.
  – Click on the old blog posts you need to edit one by one and find Categories section on the right side of the edit page of your screen.
  – You will now see a drop down of the categories you use on your site.
  – Check the box for a category you wish this particular blog post should be assigned to. 
(I also suggest you uncheck the “uncategorised” box to avoid further confusions.)
  – Once you have done the above do not forget to hit the UPDATE button you see on the top right corner of the screen in pink color.
  Follow the same steps for the other old posts you wish to add to the menu categories.

  Once you have done the above, you can now organise your menu with the following steps:

  – Click “My Sites” > “Customizer” from the left menu of your site.
  – Click on “Menus” > “Primary”.
  – Click “Add Items”. In the new pop-out window, find “Categories”. Clicking that – should give you a list of the Categories you use on your site.
  – Click the plus symbol next to the category you want to add to your menu.
  Now lets say for example if you need all your categorised posts to come under the blog page, you have to organize it with the reorder option.

  Organize your menu and add sub-menus / drop-down menus
  To re-order the items on your menu, move a menu item by clicking the Reorder link:
  – Click up/down arrows to move a menu item up or down the list.
  – Click the left/right arrows to add or remove an item from a sub-menu / drop-down menu.
