Moving or deleting featured content

    my CURRENT THEME is Twenty Fourteen.

    I would either like to complete disable the featured content, which there seems to be no option to do. Or access the tags assigned to featured themes. Is there an easy way to do this. This seems really annoyingly set up. Others seem to have the same problem.

    Hi,

    The quickest way to disable the display of featured content posts would be to go to Customize > Featured Content, delete the content of the “Tag name” field, then click the Save & Publish button. The tag name determines which posts, if any, are featured content posts.
