Moving our website to WP.

We own realwarphotos.com which was built and hosted on Yahoo Small Business, and are currently considering migrating to WP and another hosting site. Can we open an account with you to under a private URL so we can take time developing the new site, and then converting it to realwarphotos.com when we are ready. This may take a month or two.

Sure thing, you can work on your site using the free
.wordpress.comsubdomain and only map or transfer your custom domain once you’re ready.Let me know if you have any more questions regarding that.

Great news! Then I am going to finish signing up to WP, will not be requesting a hosting service and will request we use a URL called RWP.com, that we will change to realwarphotos.com, replacing the existing site under Yahoo Small Business once the new site is complete and ready to launch. Not sure who will do what first, but assume you know the steps that will need to happen.

Do you already own the domain RWP.com?
If yes, this can be mapped as per these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
You can also just use the default .WordPress.com domain until moving to realwarphotos.com if you prefer.

No, I thought this was a registered domain name via my signup. Just learned that my ‘development’ domain appears to be rwpdev804227693.wordpress.com……
Now trying to get to the site that allows me to start designing.
