Moving own domain to self hosting?

  Hey everyone

  My wordpress.com blog has its own domain but I would like to move to self hosting. I’ve owned domain websites before but I had always registered a domain with the host. I don’t know where I would start with moving a wordpress.com domain to a self host. I was wondering if anyone could help?

  I’m sorry, I probably wasn’t clear, I know how to move my blog and my blog posts over, I don’t know how to move the domain name so it no longer redirects to my wordpress.com blog?
