Moving photos from one gallery to another

  Is there a quick way of moving photos from one gallery to another and ensuring they are not replicated

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You would edit the first Gallery to remove/delete the image and then edit or create the second Gallery to include it. https://en.support.wordpress.com/gallery/#editing-a-gallery-or-slideshow

  That’s really the only way to ensure the same image doesn’t appear in two separate Galleries.

  Ok so there is no quick way of moving one image from one gallery to another . I dont need to create a new gallery

  So then not create, but edit the second Gallery to include the photo you removed from the first Gallery.

  I’m not sure what you mean by “quick,” but that is the only way I know to do this. Can you explain a little?

  ok so understand this but when i go to image galeery is there a way to see the one I was just moving or do i just have to search by name or look for it?

  When I go to Image Gallery

  I’m not sure where in the process you mean so here’s a step-by-step:

  1. Open for editing the Post or Page where you want to remove the image from the Gallery.
  2. Click on the Gallery and then on the Pencil icon that appears.
  3. In the Media Manager screen that opens, navigate to the image you want to remove from that Gallery and click the X in the corner to remove it.
  4. Click the Update Gallery button
  5. Click the Update Post/Page button

  Next:
  1 and 2 as before but now the Post/Page where you want to add the same image to a Gallery.
  3. In the Media Manage screen that opens, click on the left side link to “Add to Gallery”
  4. In the next screen that opens you have several ways to find the image. Besides the search box, you can see images that were uploaded to that specific page or sort by month. When you find the image, click to select it and then click the “Add to Gallery” button
  5. If you wish all the Gallery settings to remain as before, click the “Update Gallery” button
  6. Click the “Update Post/Page” button.
