Moving Portfolio posts to the home (index) page

    I’m using the HEAP theme and would like to swap out the blog items on the home page with https://grindethic.com/project-type/portfolio/

    I’ve tried shortcode and it doesn’t carry over the theme css.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Many thanks for reaching out!

    It looks like the site is configured to show posts on the front page, so this by default would show posts.

    Is there a page you’re working on that would like to use as the front page, whereby the portfolio shortcode or block is being added? We can take a closer look and see what the page looks like.

    It looks like the posts page template (i.e. front page) would be using a different template that of an ordinary page, so it would be different to a portfolio style page.

    Generally speaking, are you looking to showcase your portfolio as the first thing your audiences sees when they visit the site?
