Moving Posts

I’m trying to move one post from one page to another page. How do I do that?

I’ll try to illustrate by an example. Your “book” category page, https://worldwalkerblogdotcom.wordpress.com/category/book/, begins with the post “My Book is here.” That post also has other categories assigned to it, so it appears in other category pages, but let’s just just focus on the one category “book.” If you would like this post to no longer appear in the “book” category page, simply uncheck the category “book” in the post editor and update the post. To have the post appear in another category page which it doesn’t presently appear in, simply add that category to the post in the editor and update.
Technically we’re not moving the post from one page to another, we’re removing it from one page and adding it to another.

Post categories can be edited and deleted in the wp-admin interface as described in the Managing Categories in WP Admin section of the Categories support page.

So if you had the “book” category assigned to ten posts, and then changed the category universally to “nook,” you’d now have ten posts with the “nook” category assigned and none with the “book” category assigned.
