Moving posts between pages
-
Is there a way to move posts and all related comments from my home page to a secondary page I set up. I need to clear the main page of content for the purposes of starting a clean MA class page. I want to gather all of my old posts from my prior class on a new page I made and then use the home page for my current class.
I thought I could export and then import into a new location, but that just views it as duplicate content which doesn’t solve the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

I know you can set your default as to what you want to show as your front page, is that what you mean?
On your dashboard go to ‘settings’ (far right) , ‘reading’, and from that screen you can modify your front page display.

dissfunktional,
The option you have given me solves my problem in a sort of workaround manner. If I had the foresight and the knowledge to set my page up the way you mentioned when I first created it, it would be perfect.
Having said that, almost perfect is just fine with me =) Thanks a ton! I’m going to leave the thread as “not resolved” for a little while to see if there might be other possibilities.
Thanks very much for your help.
For anyone else that might see this and have an alternative to what dissfunktional mentioned, what I was initially hoping to do was to physically send the posts (along with their comments) off of my home page and into another page that I had made to hold them…essentially clearing my homepage up for new content that didn’t run into the old…
