moving posts from one wordpress blog to another

  i want to start my second blog on wordpress and would want to move some posts from my 1st blog to the new 2nd blog. is it possible and how?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Sandra,

  I’m by no means an expert, but I managed to move my posts from lamourcheznous.wordpress.com to lamourcheznous.com by exporting my posts from the original site and importing them on the new one. Search import content and I’m sure you’ll find some great tutorials!

  If you tag the posts you want to export, then the export file will include only those posts. That means you won’t have to delete all the other posts you don’t want on the second blog.

  Posts belonging to a specific Category or Tag.

  In order to avoid duplicate content, you’ll also want to go back to your first blog and delete those posts. Don’t do that until you have successfully imported the xml file to your new site.
