moving posts to another page
-
Hello, I am new to this blog-bus. I posted all posts to home page. Now that I have set up 5 pages: sleep, body systems, etc. I want to move my sleep post to the sleep pg. and digestive system to the digestive page. How do you do that? For I am in a dither…
Thanks!

Please provide a link to your wordpress.COM bog and consider linking it to your user name as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forums.
If you are hosted here, please review this FAQ http://support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

My wordpress.com blog is http://tu2bkiddin.wordpress.com/. I did review post-vs-page. It did not answer the question that I was after. Perhaps, once someone visits the site, they can help. Again, how do you move posts on the home page onto separate pages?

There is only one dynamically updating page for posts, and that is the main blog page. You cannot have multiple blog pages within a wordpress.COM blog.
Pages are static and do not dynamically update and are used for information that does not change often such as a terms of service, or an about page.
You can separate your blog posts by categorizing them with the names such as sleep, body systems, etc., and then if you want to set a static page with links to those categories. That way when someone clicks on sleep for example, it will take them to the category page for sleep and list only the posts that you have assigned the sleep category to.

There is a long thread on this topic further down the front page. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-cant-post-to-home-page?replies=12
Basically, you don’t post to pages – they are static content, as opposed to the dynamic content of the blog page. Instead, you categorize your posts. If you put the category widget in your sidebar, a visitor clicks on the category and a page containing all of the posts in that category is created. So instead of categorizing a post as “health,” you would categorize it as “body systems.”
You don’t move posts to those pages – because the only posts page you have is the home page. That’s what the FAQ explains.
