Moving previous posts off of home page

  Is there a way to move previous posts over to the archive or category area so that they no longer appear on the front page? I know that posts archive and go into categories automatically, but then the post continues as well to appear on the home page. I’d like to have just the current post visible. Thanks!!

  You can set the number of posts you want to appear on your front page.
  -> Options -> Reading and look for Blog Pages
  Show at most: ____posts
  Click “Update Options” after you change the number to 1.

  I’d like to have just the current post visible.

  Here’s the blog http://dreamcatcherva.wordpress.com/ It looks like she has applied the solution as there’s only one post on her front page now.
