MOVING PROBLEMS

    I moved my website from WordPress.com to Bluehost and then moved it back to WordPress. During the time I was at Bluehost, my site received an email telling me a picture I had up was an unlawful copy and could I change it. I did. The matter was settled. THEN when I moved from Bluehost back to WordPress, the picture reverted back to the old picture and I got served a DMCA notice. WHY did it revert back? I downloaded the xml file exactly as instructed and then reuploaded it. I don’t understand how this happened!!

    Hi there,

    Depending on how you removed the image, the reference could have remained in your original post, meaning that when you transferred your blog, the image came along with the transfer and was replaced.

    I would recommend going in to your post and removing it again at your earliest convenience, and you should not have too much issue.
