Moving published posts to drafts, not trash
-
I want to revise my classroom blog for the new year. I need to delete several posts from the visible blog, but I want to save them for later. The only option I see is to move them to the trash, which I don’t want to do. I want to return them to the “Drafts” file. Surely this is an option? Seems like I have done it before, but I see no way to do it now. Suggestions?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can bulk edit posts and change their status to draft.

That’s what I was hoping, but unfortunately, that isn’t an option under “Bulk,” at least not on mine. You can move to trash, but you can’t move to draft. I wonder if it is different depending on which template you are using?
However, I finally did figure out how to change the posts to draft one at a time. Tedious, but it got the job done.
Thanks!

Thanks for the update. I’m glad to hear you were able to do this though one at a time was tedious. Best wishes with your blog.
