Moving “Search field” in side bar up?

  Hi,
  a real newbie question: The theme I like (called Modern, i think) has the search field way down at the bottom of the side bar. The theme seems not to support widgets. So is there any other way to move the search field to the top of the side bar, easily?

  Not easily, no. If you had the CSS upgrade and were already good with CSS you could do it. But don’t buy the upgrade if you’re not fluent in CSS! There’s no support for it.

  Thanks for the quick answer.
  No, neither fluent in CSS nor do I have the time to fiddle around to customize the blog a lot. So I just will pick a different theme, since I think it is essential to have the search field at the top and not thebottom.
