Moving self-hosted site to wordpress.com without xml

  Hi, is it possible to move my self-hosted site to wordpress.com without having the xml backup file? The hosting company disabled that feature. Does the wordpress.com team provide a migrating service?
  The reason for me wanting to move to wordpress.com is the ability for other wordpress blogger to follow me.

  Hi there, you can export your content from your self-hosted site and save it to your computer and then import it to your WordPress.com site.

  Or you can use Jetpack and connect your self-hosted site to your WordPress.com account. Jetpack enables you to use the features of WordPress.com such as following your blog.
