moving side bar?

Add topic to favorites
Hi all,

I have purchased the CSS upgrade and would like to move my sidebar from the right side to the bottom of the screen to free up some space. Can someone walk me through this process?

Yes. I purchased the upgrade, and have tried a code from another discussion topic I found that sounds like my problem but with no results. It’s highly possible I’m just not doing it right and was hoping someone could help me out.

Paste this code in your CSS Editor. This should be the only code there:
```
#wrap {
clear: both;
padding: 10px;
overflow: hidden;
width: 900px;
}

#header {clear: both;}

#content {
padding: 0;
width: 100%;
}

#sidebar {float: left;}
```
I widened your contents to 900px but there are some photos that still are cropped (Marc and Wendi, for instance). I would highly recommend you to not post photos wider than 850px. Marc and Wendi’s are 1024px wide.

Having said that, if you still want to keep these dimensions, then change 900px (in the #wrap selector) to at least 1100px so that these photos are displayed properly.

Oh devblog, if I knew you I would hug your neck! Thanks for helping me out. I was getting beyond frustrated.
Now if you know how to mess with my header (add photos, or at least center the text) I won’t bother any of you again… that’s probably a lie! But I would be grateful!!

Think nothing of it.

To add an image background to the header and center its title, you’ll need to modify the “#header” selector to something like this:
```
#header {
background: transparent url(PATH-TO-YOUR-IMAGE-HERE) 0 0 no-repeat;
clear:both;
text-align: center;
}
```
The image background should have these dimensions: 900px width by 100px height.
