Hi @mcpreporter, we aren’t in a call centers, but we’re live bodies who are happy to help. Could you send a link to the site?
Also, do you need to keep using that theme?

To bring in your custom theme, you would need plan Business. That plan will also allow you to install plugins if you need any additional features.
You will have up to 200GB of storage for your media files plus the possibility to restore your site to the last backup. Here you can read more about it:
https://wordpress.com/support/business-plan/As for your domain, if you have a custom domain registered elsewhere and you purchased one of our paid plans, you can use that domain as your primary address for your WordPress.com site.
You can either map it – your domain will stay with the current registrar and you’ll need to go to their site to manage anything domain related.
Or you can transfer the domain to WordPress.com and we’ll be your new registrar. This way you’ll manage everything from one place and you’ll be able to reach support with any domain related-issues :)
Here you can find more information: https://wordpress.com/support/domain-mapping-vs-domain-transfer/
You are also welcome to keep the free
.wordpress.comsubdomain for as long as you wish and only bring over your custom address once your new site is ready to be launched.
