Moving Site Back to WordPress.com Failed

    Hi,

Months ago, I moved all of my websites to be self-hosted through bluehost. I decided that I preferred one of my sites (journeywood.org) on WordPress.com (because of its simplicity and the community on wordpress.com) and followed the directions. I did this:
“You will need to log into your registrar’s site and change the “Name Servers” to:

    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com”

I received a confirmation message from Bluehost that I had done this successfully. I waited a day to see if it had worked, but journeywood.org still shows the wordpress.org toolbar and the bluehost icon in the tab. Is there anything I can do?

    Thanks,
    Nicholas

  • I am seeing journeywood.org point correctly to your WordPress.com site.

It can take 24-72 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency.

Also, do let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.
